The « Elicio » wines (« evoke », « recall », and « remember » in Latin) were produced a bit later in Cascavel’s history, in memory of happy days spent between Ventoux and Luberon.
Fresher and easier in all aspects they fit in with their time and our need for immediacy. Elicio wines are modern, aromatic and pleasant to drink all year long; they perfectly match a screw capsule which makes life simple and effective on a daily basis.
Grenache & Merlot
Méditerranée
Our red Elicio Grenache & Merlot is produced on plots located on the southern slopes of Mont Ventoux. The vines benefit from fresh air streams that descend from the slopes of the Géant de Provence. The wines are made to preserve the fruit aromas. From vintage to vintage, Elicio red wines are consistent, fresh, and pleasant while being quite strong in color, round and balanced.
Grenache & Syrah

Our Elicio Grenache Syrah Rosé is a wine produced on the adjoining plots of Tour d’Aigues, south of the Luberon Massif. The vines on the hillsides also benefit from fresh air streams which cool the vines in the second half of summer nights. The wines are made as simple as possible, in order to preserve the fruit aromas. From vintage to vintage, Elicio rosé wines are consistent, fresh and aromatic, fine and elegant.
Vermentino

Our Elicio Vermentino Blanc is a wine produced on plots adjoining the village of La Tour d’Aigues, south of the Luberon Massif. The vines on the hillsides also benefit from fresh air streams which cool the vines in the second half of summer nights. The wines are made as simple as possible, in order to preserve the fruit aromas. From vintage to vintage, Elicio white wines are consistent, fresh and aromatic, fine and elegant.

Round, fresh and pleasant, to drink in the year following the vintage, Elicio wines are not taken seriously. They express the authentic flavors of the grape varieties present in the south-east of France, and allow a bit of modernity, such as the practical 5-liter bag-in-box on a daily basis, in line with our growing needs for immediacy, small simple pleasures, and conviviality alone, with family or friends.
